Welcome to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jerusalem College of Engineering. We started our journey in the year of 1995. Over the last 23 years, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Electronics and Communication Engineering curriculum and research.
We have a strong undergraduate program in Electronics and Communication Engineering, postgraduate program in Applied Electronics and Ph. D degrees. The sanctioned student’s strengths of B. E. and M. E. are respectively 120 and 18 per year.
The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart technical know-how to students, promote their problem solving skills and innovation of new technologies. Undergraduate and postgraduate students are encouraged to undertake various research projects. Our department maintains active research groups for carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research. We have state of the art research facilities to support our academic programs and research.
Our department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research. Faculty members have excellent academic credentials and are highly regarded. Several faculty members serve on the editorial boards of national and international journals, review technical articles for journals on a regular basis, and organize international symposia and conferences.
This website provides an overview of the academic programs, research activities of our department, research facilities, profiles of faculty members, and details of student activities. We hope that this website will be informative to parents and students. Our department looks forward to contribute in solving the technological challenges of the society with active participation from all sections of the society.
