19th Graduation day
19th Graduation day of Jerusalem College of Engineering was held on Friday, 10th August, 2018 at 10:00AM in the college premises for the undergraduate students of batch 2013-17 and postgraduate students of batch 2015-17. Prof Dr. M. K. Surappa, Vice-Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai was the Chief Guest and delivered Graduation day address. Prof. M. Mala, CEO presided over the function. Prof Dr. M. Ramalingam, Principal of the college presented the annual report of the college. 715 students were awarded the degrees in various disciplines by the honourable Chief Guest, Prof Dr. M. K. Surappa, Vice-Chancellor, Anna University. Cash prizes, medals and certificates were awarded to 20 meritorious students who secured University ranks. The Honourable Chief Guest also inaugurated Robotics laboratory of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, funded by MHRD. He was very delighted to address the gathering on the 19th graduation day. He congratulates the graduated students and the medal winners. He shared his thoughts which he gone over the years and also what he used in the research. He also told about the Robotics lab which was very creativity. He appreciated the 2nd and 3rd year students who designed the various kinds of Robots. He also added the Robotics lab proves that the institution provides the students a great opportunity to acquire all the talents and creativity. He also added that the creativity should continue in the rest of the life and they should use that one for the betterment of society, family and public. He also added that the graduates need to have a right kind of an attitude, mindset, soft skills and passion. He also talked about the change of technology and the benefits of internet. He also told that the knowledge, skills, organization, enthusiasm, creative that you gains over year should be utilized in the challenging world. He also talks about life which is always getting inspired and motivated to achieve the new heights and accomplish new goals. Finally he conclude that the graduate’s life and preaching should set an example of noble values so that our future generation remember through ages for what we give and establish for the society. He also stressed the need for the upliftment of mankind and eradication of inequality in society. Students were advised to contribute to the society with Professional integrity and ethical values. He finally quoted that “we make living by what we get, but we make life what we give”
