The Department of ECE organised a guest lecture for II, III year students on 6.03.2025 between 09.30 a.m to 10.30 a.m. The resource person Dr.K.Swaminathan, Founder & CEO, Silicic Innova Technologies Pvt Ltd,Chennai &Founder, Silicon Craft VLSI Training-Research Institute, Chennai addressed the students on the topic “Building a Successful Career in Semiconductors: Insights & Essential Skills”. He presented the remarkable journey of the semiconductor industry and the need of the Electronics engineers in future. He gave a sound insight on how to be an industry ready trained in analog IC design & Digital design to step into the market. He also showcased the training conducted in his organisation and how students undergo rigorous training to be placed in top MNC’s.
The event was convened by Dr.Sheeja V Francis, HOD/ ECE and coordinated by Dr.G.Merlin Sheeba, Professor/ ECE.
