Education is a continuous and lifelong learning process. The ideal of education is to produce a wholesome person capable of improving intellect, while remaining sensitive to ethical, social and environmental issues. As quoted by Swami Vivekananda, "Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man and it must provide life building, man making, character making assimilation of ideas contributing towards nation building". Knowledge is inherent in every human being like a spark in a piece of flint and all that is needed is a strike of suggestion to bring it out. A true teacher is one who can come down to the level of students and transfer his soul to the students’ soul.
Jerusalem College of Engineering, established in the year 1995 has grown in leaps and bounds over the past 16 years and has become a center of excellence in engineering education. We have full fledged laboratories for all the U.G. and P.G. courses we run and have latest equipments in all of them. Our students are shining in all aspects, be it academics, extracurricular or co-curricular activities. Having taken over as principal in Dec 2010, I feel proud to be associated with this college and I would like to say a few words. There are 3 kinds of people in this world. 1: people who make things happen 2: people who watch things happening 3: people who wonder what is happening. I want the students and faculty to be people who make things happen and bring up this institution to great heights. I wish all the best for the institution.
