Biomedical Engineering Program was introduced at Jerusalem College of Engineering in the academic year 2005-06. We offer Undergraduate programme in B.E-Biomedical Engineering with an intake of 54 students. The department is being functioning effectively under the guidance of Dr. J. Samuel Manoharan. The department has highly qualified faculty members who work tirelessly towards betterment of the department. The Biomedical Engineering Association was inaugurated in the year 2008 by Prof. Dr. M. Ramasubba Reddy, Professor, Head of Laboratory, Biomedical Engineering Group, Department of Applied Mechanics, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. The department provides a challenging environment to the students to build their potential so as to develop competent professionals. The department possesses well equipped laboratories to propel the research instinct of students. The department also encourages the students to excel in extra-curricular activities apart from academics. The students and faculty share a great rapport among themselves which proves to be an underlying factor behind the academic excellence of students.
