The Department of Biomedical Engineering, Jerusalem College of Engineering, organized an Alumni Talk on “Career Avenues for Biomedical Engineers as Calibration Engineer” on 30 March 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at M005. The session was delivered by Mr. Sathiyamoorthy L (Alumnus 2012–2016), Quality and Training Engineer at SRM Institute for Medical Science and Hospitals, Chennai. During the talk, the speaker shared valuable insights into career opportunities in biomedical engineering, particularly in the field of calibration engineering and medical equipment maintenance. The session provided students with practical knowledge about industry requirements, professional skills, and career growth in the biomedical field. The event was coordinated by Ms. S. Purnima, Alumni Coordinator, under the guidance of Dr. J. Samuel Manoharan, Head of the Department – BME, and Dr. S. Sathiyamurthy.
