The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with IETE Students’ Forum (ISF) conducted 'Vizhichudar' - Project idea presentation prelims on 28.03.26. 17 Teams from various colleges like Loyala ICAM, Sairam Engineering College, KCG College of Engineering Ganadipathy Thulsi Jain Engineering, Tagore Engineering College etc., participated in the event. The event was conducted online in Google meet by the student coordinators Ms.Ravena M, III ECE & Ms Gayathri K, III Year ECE with the guidance of Dr. Sheeja V Francis HoD - ECE & Dean Augmentation, IETE coordinators Dr.G.T.Bharathy, Associate Prof., & Dr.T.Tamilselvi, Associate Professor, Staff Coordinators Ms.R.Malathy, Assistant Professor & Ms.S.A.Saranya, Assistant Professor. Dr. A Manimegalai, Prof and HoD, Ganadipathy Tulsi's Jain Engineering College from Vellore and Dr R Porselvi, Associate Prof, Tagore Engg College were the jury members. It was exciting to witness innovative ideas, approaches and strong competition among all the 17 teams of which 10 teams were shortlisted for the finale to be held on 11.04.2026 in offline mode.
