On behalf of management and faculty, I welcome you to the Department of Construction Engineering and Management. Construction engineering and management focuses on the infrastructure of the world which includes Waterworks, Sewers, Dams, Power Plants, Transmission Towers/Lines, Railroads, Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Irrigation Canals, River Navigation, Shipping Canals, Traffic Control, Mass Transit, Airport Runways, Terminals, Industrial Plant Buildings, Skyscrapers, etc.

M.E - Construction Engineering and Management course was started in the year 2011 with a motive to produce engineers with specialized skills in project management, project scheduling etc. The department is recognized as a research centre by Anna University. Currently, there are 2 research supervisors and around 12 research scholars are pursuing research in diverse fields of Construction Engineering and Management. The department is bestowed with highly experienced and qualified faculty members to inculcate the best education to the students. The department strives to provide an encouraging environment for the students to develop analytical and practical skills and apply it to real world problems. To motivate the students department organizes regular training in state of art software, arrange expert lectures, visits and national and international level conferences. The department works with the objective of addressing critical challenges faced by the industry, society and academia.

The department has excellent experimental and computational facilities to carry out research in intact areas of Construction Engineering and Management. Our department has produced several university rank holders. Many of our alumni hold prestigious positions in various academic institutions, industrial and government organizations.
