The Civil Engineering department was established in the year 2001 with the aim for the development of public and private sectors which directly influences the growth of the nation. Post graduate Course M.E (Construction Engineering and Management) was started in the year 2011. The department is recognized as a research centre by Anna University and the (best civil engineering college in Tamil Nadu). Currently, there are 3 research supervisors and around 20 research scholars are pursuing research in diverse fields of Civil Engineering. The department is bestowed with highly qualified faculty members to inculcate best education to the students. The department has excellent experimental and computational facilities to carry out research in intact areas of Civil Engineering. The department also ensures that the students have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment in the laboratories. Our department has produced several university rank holders. Many of our alumni hold prestigious positions in various academic institutions, industrial and government organizations.
