Computer Science Engineering

Aim

• To provide a student-led platform that encourages peer-to-peer learning and collaborative knowledge sharing in Computer Science and Engineering.
• To promote self-initiative, creativity, and technical exploration among students through independent organization of technical activities.
• To nurture leadership, responsibility, and professional ethics by empowering students to manage and execute technical events.

Objectives

• To enable students to plan, coordinate, and conduct technical events such as coding challenges, workshops, quizzes, and project exhibitions.
• To encourage learning of contemporary computing technologies through student-initiated discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on sessions.
• To strengthen teamwork, communication, and organizational skills by involving students in all stages of event management.

Outcomes

To acquire the knowledge about coding in the following:

• Students demonstrate improved technical competence through active participation in peer-driven learning activities.
• Enhanced leadership, teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills as a result of student-managed event execution.
• Increased confidence, professional responsibility, and readiness for higher studies, research, and industry roles.

Introduction

The NETWORK OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERS (NCSE) was established under the leadership of the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, with the active involvement of faculty members and students, to serve as a dynamic, student-driven technical forum. The association aims to enhance technical knowledge and innovation beyond the curriculum, strengthen the application of theoretical concepts to real-world computing problems, and cultivate a research-oriented mindset among students. Through continuous student-driven technical activities, NCSE promotes lifelong learning and professional development in the field of computer science and engineering.
