The Technovation Club was established on 11/09/2023 to kindle the thought process of our students. It is a place to meet the tech savvy, a place to find people with similar technology craze. Stay up-to-date with latest technology, trends and much more.
To promote and encourage students to develop their knowledge in upcoming and uncharted territories of technology.
The club aims at inspiring students about the technologies to pursue their hunger for knowledge in the areas other than their regular field of study. This club instills the passion of technology among students at the cost of various competitions such as Technical Quiz, Debate, Competitive and fun infused contests alongside various workshops about technology know-how, with an Ultimate goal to introduce the students to new technologies and skill-sets to encourage them to partake in innovative journeys themselves.
The Technovation Club of the ECE Department organized a inter-department technical event "SOS - Save Our Ship" on 26th September 2024 and 27th September 2024 at 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm on both days, aimed at fostering problem solving skills and to provide a platform among students from different departments to engage in discussion about the emerging trends and technology.The event witnessed an overwhelming response of 34 registration from diverse department with great enthusiasm.The technical event featured a unique two-round format, where participants from various departments collaborated to tackle complex technical challenges in the first round , and subsequently demonstrated their adaptability and creative thinking in the non technical second round.The event was convened by Dr.Sheeja V Francis and organized by Dr.G.Merlin Sheeba Professor/ECE and Ms.R.Malathy,Assistant Professor/ECE. The event was coordinated by the ECE Technovation Club Executive Committee student members.
